Our potato growing kit features two coffee sacks and a choice of two different heritage or unusual seed potato varieties. You will get 6-8 seeds in and full instructions. Choose from four unusual types: Purple/Blue, Red, Knobbly and Spotty.
This year our available varieties are:
Vitanoire (Purple skin and flesh)
Lily Rose (Red skin and flesh)
Pink Fir Apple (Knobbly)
Celebration (Spotty)
Grow your own colourful potatoes with our easiest kit. Just put a little soil in each sack, three - four seed potatoes, and cover with a layer of compost. As the potatoes grow keep earthing them up until the sack is full. Full instructions are included in a colour booklet.
Slugs hate the jute material so fewer slug attacks. The softness of the sack makes it much easier to roll up and down as you earth up the plants. Plus, because they are a natural material, they won't break down and leave pieces of plastic in your garden like plastic weave grow bags.
